Welcome to Château de la Carrière, our much-loved French country château in La Cropte, Mayenne, in the Pays de la Loire region of France.

More than just a place to stay, the château is a place to slow down, discover, create, celebrate and experience the simple pleasures of French country living.

Whether you're joining us for a few nights, a creative retreat, a special celebration or simply to explore our beautiful gardens, we look forward to welcoming you.


Situated in 13 hectares of woodland and flat land, the chateau and dependencies offer a glimpse into the past with modern comforts. The meticulously restored centerpiece exudes grandeur, surrounded by tranquil beauty. These outbuildings provide accommodation and living spaces. Visitors can immerse themselves in its timeless charm, blending history with modern living.
