At Château de la Carrière, we are dedicated to helping you create a truly unforgettable event. Our historic 19th-century château, nestled in the peaceful French countryside yet conveniently close to Paris, provides a perfect backdrop for your special day. From the moment you begin planning until the final celebration, Suzie and Sophie will guide you with care and attention to every detail. With beautifully restored gardens and luxurious self-contained accommodations in the converted barns, we offer both elegance and comfort. Let us accompany you through the entire process, making your dream day a cherished memory that lasts forever.

We cater in-house for weddings of up to 60 guests, with menus created from seasonal produce grown in our château potager and sourced from trusted local suppliers. For larger celebrations, we can coordinate external caterers and the hire of a marquee.

We do not offer fixed packages — every wedding at the château is designed entirely around you. Each celebration is unique, crafted to reflect your style, vision, and story.

Meet the Team:

Sophie, our in-house French-Australian stylist, offers full or partial styling to bring your wedding vision to life. With a background in interiors, and hospitality — including experience with Merivale in Australia — she brings a distinctive eye for colour, detail, and atmosphere to every celebration.

Suzie, originally from Melbourne, left a thriving financial planning career to follow her true passion: creating unforgettable moments around food, wine, and conviviality. Together with you, she designs seasonal menus drawn from the château’s vegetable garden — dishes that reflect her instinctive, flavour-driven style and her love of simple, beautiful food.

Our Services

Venue hire starts at 3,300 €, which includes access to the château grounds and the chapel building.
We can host up to 30 guests across the property:
- Château – 2,200 € per night
- Attic Bedrooms – 77 € per night
- Guesthouse – 440 € per night
- L’Appartement – 275 € per night
We offer a range of in-house dining options using seasonal produce from the château potager and local suppliers:
- Breakfast – 15 € per person
- Lunch – 25 € per person
- Dinner – 35 € per person
- Brunch – 35 € per person
- Wedding Meal – 80–120 € per person
- Alcohol – Charged either per person or based on consumption
- Tables and chairs are available to hire at 5 € per piece.
- Photographer, hair and makeup, transportation, music, and entertainment can be arranged at an additional cost.
- Flowers from the château gardens can be provided, with pricing tailored to your specific needs.

We also work with a trusted network of local professionals — caterers, makeup artists, florists, DJs, musicians, and transport providers — and are happy to share recommendations tailored to your wedding.
