At Château de la Carrière, every table tells a story. Since joining the château in 2022, French-Australian stylist and creative director Sophie Thé has brought her distinctive approach to tablescaping, combining French elegance, Australian creativity and a love of the unexpected.

With over 20 years of experience in styling, interiors and hospitality, including working with some of Sydney's leading hospitality venues, Sophie transforms everyday objects into extraordinary table settings.

Her signature style is playful, eclectic and effortlessly elegant. Mixing vintage French brocante finds, antique tableware, seasonal flowers from the château gardens, colourful textiles and unexpected treasures, she creates unique tablescapes that celebrate individuality rather than perfection.

From intimate candlelit dinners and lavish wedding receptions to creative workshops and special celebrations, each table is thoughtfully designed to complement Suzie's seasonal cuisine and the occasion itself.

Sophie also shares her passion through spontaneous tablescaping workshops, encouraging guests to experiment with their own brocante discoveries and discover that beautiful tables don't require matching pieces or expensive collections — just imagination and a little creativity.
